One of Defect's strongest finishers: for X Energy, Evoke your rightmost orb X times. More Energy means more Evokes, so it synergizes perfectly with Plasma decks and any build that generates lots of Energy.

With Dark on the right, Multi-Cast releases accumulated damage X times for astronomical single-turn damage. With Frost, stack X-times Block; with Lightning, deal X-times damage. Combining with Double Energy, Hyperbeam, or Plasma pushes X even higher, magnifying the effect. Dark plus Multi-Cast is one of the highest damage combos in the game.

• Use as a Dark-build finisher: stack Dark, then Multi-Cast to Evoke in a single burst
• Use Plasma, Hyperbeam, or Double Energy first to max out X
• Also doubles as a Frost finisher, racking up Block in a single turn
• More flexible than Quad Cast (fixed 4 Evokes) since you can scale X to the situation
