A-tier

A cost-0 card that grants Orb slot +1 and 1 draw, with its cost ticking up by 1 each time it is played. The first play at cost 0 is extremely efficient, the second costs 1, the third costs 2, and so on. It is an escalating-cost card.

More Orb slots mean more Orbs held simultaneously, which in turn sustains more Orb effects. Frost and Dark decks scale especially well with extra slots. The first two or three plays are cost-efficient, after which the returns diminish. It works as the foundation for Orb-heavy decks that lean on Loop or Coolant to maintain a wide Orb lineup.

• Play immediately at combat start as cost 0 to expand slots before committing to other cards
• Two or three plays secures a huge slot count and properly launches an Orb-focused deck
• The cost escalates with each play, so plan future turns around the increasing cost
• With All for One you can recover a 0-cost copy and replay it (note the cost increase still applies)

• Loop: Extra slot space plus Loop means more Orb passives triggering each turn. Many slots times Loop is devastating
• Coolant: Orb types times Block. More slots means more Orb variety and more Block
• Glacier / Cold Snap: Stacking Frost. Reinforce expands slots so Frost can fully scale
• Darkness: Stack Dark across multiple slots for escalating stored damage. Reinforce secures the slots
