An all-in-one card that grants 11 Block (15 upgraded) and Channels a Dark Orb for 2 Energy. It lets you defend and build the Dark army in the same play.

In Dark builds the defense option is exceptional. Upgraded to 15 Block, it leads the cost-2 defense category in efficiency. Dark Orbs ramp damage every turn, so defending with Shadow Shield while slow-cooking a big Evoke later is a natural playstyle. Alongside Consume, Darkness, and Doom, it anchors the defensive pillar of a Dark-focused deck.
