Tough Bandages

Tough Bandages is a Silent-only relic that automatically grants 3 Block every time you discard a card. Along with Tingsha, it is one of the two pillars of the discard build.

Silent is an offense-leaning character that tends to struggle for Block, but Tough Bandages turns the act of discarding itself into a defensive tool. Acrobatics drawing 3 and discarding 1 yields 3 Block; Calculated Gamble discarding a big hand easily stacks 10+ Block in a single turn. Since you gain Block without playing any Skill cards, every card in hand can be funneled into offense while still securing defense — the ideal all-in-one play.

Owning both Tough Bandages and Tingsha is the fully realized discard build: every discard fires 3 damage and 3 Block simultaneously, so discarding alone handles both offense and defense.
