Acquisition
An Ancient relic obtained as a choice from Tanx (Act 3). One of the options presented when you meet Tanx in Act 3. Extremely important as a final-act power-up.
Rating
Spiked Gauntlets is Tanx's Ancient relic granting +1 energy but increasing Power card cost by 1. Fatal in Power-heavy decks, but in Attack/Skill-centric decks that barely use Powers it functions as pure +1 energy. With only 1-2 Powers, the +1 energy typically outweighs the cost hike. Conversely, decks stacking multiple high-cost Powers like Demon Form or Echo Form should avoid it. At Act 3, you need to accurately assess your deck's Power dependency before deciding.
