Screaming Flagon is an exceptionally powerful rare relic that grants 1 Strength every time you play a card. Playing multiple cards per turn stacks Strength rapidly, so the more attacks you land later in a turn, the higher their damage becomes. In STS2, playing 4 to 5 or more cards per turn is not unusual, meaning the attacks you play toward the end of a turn benefit from a meaningful Strength bonus.
