A Cost 1 skill granting 5 Block plus temporary in-combat upgrade of 1 hand card (all hand cards upgraded version). Offers a unique in-combat upgrade effect even without Smith access. Upgraded's all-hand upgrade shines when multiple key cards are in hand (Bash, Dismantle, Shrug It Off, etc.). 5 Block is modest, but combined with the upgrade bonus, Cost 1's value is high. The upgraded all-hand version ranks as one of Ironclad's top general-purpose buff effects.

Target the upgraded version via Smith as priority. Upgraded lets you play key in-hand cards (Bash+, Dismantle+, Whirlwind+) in their upgraded forms, dramatically boosting per-turn action. Typical use: play first, then spend the rest of the turn playing upgraded hand cards. Draw-heavy decks with big hands benefit more. Combined with Shrug It Off (Block + draw), increase hand size before Armaments to upgrade more cards.

• Bash: Upgraded applies Weak 3. Armaments-upgraded then played delivers Bash+'s full power.
• Dismantle: Upgraded is 10 damage x2. Armaments combo boosts double-hit damage significantly.
• Whirlwind: Upgraded is 8 damage per hit. Armaments-upgraded Whirlwind dealing 8/hit.
• Shrug It Off: Upgraded is 11 Block + draw. After Armaments, it refills hand while securing high Block.
• Battle Trance: 0-cost 3-4 draw. Draw after Armaments to fill hand with upgraded cards.
