Rating and Analysis
The basic attack card that starts in the deck. 1 cost for 6 damage is passable early, but it's quickly outclassed by better attacks as the game progresses. Upgraded to 9 damage, efficiency improves significantly. In builds pursuing Perfected Strike or Hell Raiser synergy, actively keeping it becomes worth considering. In standard builds, swap it out for stronger attacks as soon as possible.
How to Use
Use it as a main damage source in early fights. As deck construction progresses, prioritize stronger attacks and consider Exuding or replacing Strikes. When running Hell Raiser, keeping Strikes provides ongoing auto-damage synergy. The same applies to Perfected Strike — mind the count when building. Upgrading is very cost-effective, so make it a priority at the Smith.
Good Synergies
- Hell Raiser: Power that auto-plays on draw, so keeping Strike-family cards grants continuous bonus damage.
- Perfected Strike: Attack scaling with number of Strike-family cards in the deck. Keep Strikes to boost output.
- Setup Strike: Applies temporary Strength to an attack, raising Strike efficiency on the first play.
- Inflame / Demon Form: Strength buffs that keep Strike relevant into the late game.
