A Cost 3 attack that simply deals 32 damage (42 upgraded). No additional effects, but its raw damage output is extraordinary. Cost 3 makes it hard to pair with other cards the same turn, but combining it with Reaper (makes next attack 0 cost) or Cascade (plays top cards of draw pile) effectively lets you fire it for free. Upgraded 42 damage is among the highest single-target outputs on any Ironclad card. Strength buffs stack on top of the base 32, increasing it further. The strongest strategy is to reuse it repeatedly with Headbutt.

The most efficient play is to zero its cost with Reaper (next attack Cost 0). The Reaper (Cost 2) into Skull Bash (Cost 0) combo delivers 32-42 damage for 2 Energy total. If calling it out with Cascade, use Headbutt to place Skull Bash on top of the draw pile first to guarantee it plays. Alternatively, each turn use Headbutt to place Skull Bash back on top from the discard, draw it next turn, and play it — creating a reliable 32-42 damage cycle. In the late game with Strength stacked high, Skull Bash alone can often finish enemies in a single swing.

• Reaper: Attack that makes your next attack 0 cost. The base combo — Reaper then Skull Bash for 2 Energy total and massive damage.
• Headbutt: Places a discard card on top of the draw pile. The core combo — use it every turn to put Skull Bash on top and repeat the play.
• Cascade: X-cost skill that plays top X cards. Place Skull Bash on top with Headbutt, then Cascade plays it reliably and for free.
• Inflame / Demon Form: Strength-buffing Powers. Strength stacks onto Skull Bash's 32-42 damage for even higher output.
• Bonfire Spirits: Power that accelerates Energy at turn start. Eases the Cost 3 burden so you can fit other cards in the same turn.
