A-tier

A strong temporary buff that grants Focus 2 for the current turn at cost 0. The April 2026 patch added Exhaust to the base card, and the upgrade now removes Exhaust instead of giving Focus +1. The upgrade benefit shifted from more Focus to removing Exhaust.

Unupgraded it fires only once per fight, so line it up with a major Evoke turn. Upgraded, Exhaust is gone and it plays every turn, which raises its upgrade priority sharply. Cost 0 keeps it easy to combine, so dropping it before a big Evoke turn to push Focus higher is a dominant play pattern.

Focus lifts Lightning passive and Evoke damage, Frost Block, Dark accumulation, and Plasma Energy recovery. The 0 cost fits easily into combo turns.

• Prioritize the upgrade first to remove Exhaust and use it every turn
• Play just before a huge Evoke turn to spike Focus temporarily
• Stack same turn with Dual Cast, Multi-Cast, or Quadcast for enormous Orb damage
• Unupgraded, bank it for the most impactful single turn

• Dual Cast / Multi-Cast / Quadcast: Multiple Evokes on the same turn ride the Focus bonus
• Darkness: Dark generation plus passive trigger. Temporary Focus accelerates Dark stacking
• Tesla Coil: Fires every Lightning passive. Higher Focus means higher damage
