A cost-1 hybrid that deals 9 damage (11 upgraded) and grants Focus for the current turn only. Focus drives Orb passives and Evoke effects, so the side buff is very valuable.

The Focus is turn-limited, but any Orb Evokes or passives triggered same turn get the boost. Orb-heavy decks gain huge payoff when used on a big Evoke turn. Upgraded to 11 damage plus 2 Focus, usability rises further.

• Play on the same turn as Dual Cast or Multi-Cast to ride the Focus boost
• With Loop active, turn-start passives are not affected by in-turn Focus
• Damage 9 (11 upgraded) is strong for cost 1 as a pure attack
• Treat Defragment as permanent Focus, Focus Strike as temporary Focus while attacking

• Dual Cast / Multi-Cast: Evoke on the same turn to ride the Focus bonus
• Defragment: Permanent Focus plus temporary Focus makes huge spikes
