Rating
A 0-cost event-only skill that grants temporary +5 Strength (+7 upgraded). A-tier. The Strength snaps back at turn end, but if you fire off a string of attacks during the same turn, it enables a massive damage spike. Because it costs 0, every point of Energy can still go to attacks. Paired with multi-hit cards (Peck, Exterminate, Shiv, etc.) the Strength is added to every hit, so damage scales explosively. A universal booster that fits every character whenever a turn needs extra offense.
How to Use
The plan is to stack as many attacks as possible after playing it. +5 Strength applies to every hit: a single-hit card gains +5, a 3-hit card gains +15, a 5-hit card gains +25. The rule is to play Feeding Frenzy first, then chain attacks. Combining it with Brightest Flame (2 Energy + 2 draw) keeps Energy and hand flowing while the Strength buff is active, so you can flood out attacks. The buff is temporary, so it is lost value on defensive turns, but being 0-cost means there is no cost to firing it off regardless.
Synergies
- Peck: a 3-hit attack with +5 Strength each hit deals 21 damage for 1 Energy. Upgraded 4-hit deals 28.
- Exterminate: each AoE hit gains +5 Strength, totaling +20 damage spread across targets.
- Shiv: each 0-cost 4-damage Shiv becomes 9 damage. Three Shivs add +15 damage.
- Rage: play multiple 0-cost Rages to apply +5 Strength damage repeatedly.
- Meteor Shower: both 0-cost. Play Feeding Frenzy first, then Meteor Shower for 19 AoE damage plus debuffs.
- Vajra (Relic): permanent +1 Strength. Combined with Feeding Frenzy for a temporary +6 Strength.
