Byrdonis Egg

Unplayable. Can be hatched at a rest site. When hatched, you gain the Byrd Swoop card.

Byrdonis Egg is a special quest card. It cannot be played directly, but hatching it at a rest site gives you the Byrd Swoop attack (14 damage, Exhaust). The question is whether you want to spend a rest action on hatching instead of resting or upgrading. Byrd Swoop itself is a one-shot burst, so the trade is usually worth it only when you need extra nova damage or have a stronger use for the rest slot.

• Compare against healing or upgrading to decide if the Swoop payoff is bigger
