A very heavy 3-cost Skill with Sly that grants 1-2 Energy. Playing it by hand — paying 3 to get 1-2 back — is wildly inefficient. But the Sly proc from a discard triggers free Energy gain. Discarding Tactician in a discard deck effectively becomes free Energy, accelerating combo turns. Upgraded, discarding nets 2 Energy — enough fuel for big multi-card turns.

• Don't play it by hand. Trigger the Sly via discard effects (Dagger Throw, Acrobatics, Storm of Steel, etc.).
• Hold it with Flick and Flack and discard both at once — free AoE plus free 1-2 Energy.
• Storm of Steel (discard entire hand) is the most reliable enabler and the bonus Energy smooths the follow-up.
• Upgraded to 2 Energy per proc, each discard trigger enables mass play.
• With Nightmare copying Tactician, multiple Sly procs yield a huge burst of Energy.

• Storm of Steel: discard-entire-hand, convert to Shivs. Tactician in hand procs on the mass discard and gives Energy.
• Flick and Flack: Sly AoE Attack. Shared discard enablers trigger both together.
• Dagger Throw: 1-card discard. Intentionally discard Tactician to proc Sly.
• Nightmare: creates 3 copies. Copy Tactician for multiple Sly procs and massive Energy.

• Act 1 early: Low. Without discard enablers, you're stuck playing raw 3 cost.
• Act 1 late: Mid. Once Acrobatics or Storm of Steel shows up, consider it.
• Act 2+: High. In a shaped discard deck it's a premium free-Energy source.
• Boss reward: Deck-dependent. Skip outside of discard decks.
