A setup skill that discards your entire hand in exchange for doubling every Attack next turn. It peaks when next turn's hand is already full of high-damage Attacks. Doubling heavy hitters like Dagger Spray or Skewer is enough to one-shot a single boss. The hand-discard drawback is softened if you run Shiv-type cards, Cloak and Dagger, or discard-synergy pieces. Upgraded, it becomes cost 0 — a premier buff that doubles next turn's damage for free. Paired with a Discard deck, the drawback flips into upside and Shadowstep's weakness disappears entirely.

• Play it when next turn you expect to fire multiple high-damage Attacks. Make sure you can redraw into Attacks before committing.
• If you hold discard-synergy cards (Flick-Flack, Noxious Fumes, Cloak and Dagger), discarding them with Shadowstep generates value instead of losing tempo.
• Decks with strong Draw can ignore the drawback — you will refill Attacks fast enough next turn.
• Upgraded Shadowstep at cost 0 becomes the peak pattern: dump weak cards, keep Attacks, double all of them next turn.
• Shines as a burst button in short boss fights where you cannot afford long turns.

• Dagger Spray: multi-hit AoE Attack. Shadowstep then Dagger Spray doubles every hit on every target for huge AoE.
• Skewer: X-cost multi-hit Attack. Under Shadowstep, every hit doubles for overwhelming single-target damage.
• Flick-Flack: Shiv AoE that fires on discard. Discarding it with Shadowstep triggers its AoE and still leaves next turn's Attacks doubled.
• Cloak and Dagger: Shiv + Block Skill. Discarding via Shadowstep still grants the Shiv, converting the downside into defense.
