Rating

A 1-cost Skill granting 2 (3 upgraded) Dexterity. Dexterity boosts every Block card's output, so decks running lots of Block Skills benefit enormously. Reduced in the April 2026 patch from 3(5) to 2(3), but permanent defensive scaling at 1 cost remains excellent. Plays great with Backflip, Blur, Leg Sweep, and similar defense Skills for turn-over-turn Block lift. A stable early-act pick.

How to Use

  • Play as early as possible. The effect is permanent, so earlier = more total value.
  • Extremely useful in decks with many cheap Block Skills (Backflip, Blur).
  • Cast in the first turns of a boss fight to shore up defense for the later turns.
  • Upgraded Dexterity 3 bumps every Block card significantly — upgrade priority is high.
  • With After Image (1 Block per card played), Dexterity-boosted Block piles up across many card plays.

Synergies / Deck Types

  • Backflip: Block + 2 Draw. Dexterity raises the Block output, improving the efficiency.
  • Blur: Block persists into next turn. Dexterity-boosted Block carries over — very strong.
  • Leg Sweep: Block + Weak. Dexterity lifts the Block, Weak reduces incoming damage — full defense.
  • Footwork: additional Dexterity Power. Combines with Reflex for a massive Dexterity stack.

Pick Priority

  • Early Act 1: high. Reduces early chip damage and stabilizes the run.
  • Late Act 1: medium. Value climbs once Block Skills are online.
  • Act 2+: medium. Can be redundant if Dexterity sources are already present.
  • Boss Reward: low. Not a rare — grab from regular card rewards when possible.
