Rating

Nominally cost 3, but the cost drops by 1 per Skill played this turn. Play 3+ Skills first and Pinpoint becomes 0 cost for 17–22 damage. Cost efficiency scales with Skill volume, so Skill-heavy builds get the most out of it. A staple finisher for decks running Backflip, Blur, Cloak and Dagger, and similar cheap Skills. Shines especially in Master Tactician / Reflex type decks as a big-number payoff.

How to Use

  • Play 3+ Skills first on the same turn, then close with Pinpoint. Sequence Skills early, then swing.
  • Dig deeper with Tools of the Trade and similar refills so more Skills fire before Pinpoint.
  • With Master Tactician, spamming Skills also racks Shivs — pile value before Pinpoint lands.
  • Note: Setup's "next Skill costs 0" is irrelevant — Pinpoint's discount needs Skills actually played, not 0-cost effects.
  • Upgraded 22 damage at 0 energy threatens every boss in the game.

Synergies / Deck Types

  • Tools of the Trade: draw up to 6 (refill hand). Fills the hand with Skills, then Pinpoint closes for massive damage.
  • Master Tactician: Shiv on each Skill played. Skills feed both Shiv stacks and Pinpoint's discount.
  • Backflip / Blur / Leg Sweep: efficient Skills. Use them first to drive Pinpoint's cost down before firing.
  • Setup: 12 damage Attack that makes the next Skill 0 cost. In Skill-dense decks, Setup → Skill → Pinpoint chains naturally.
