A simple defense Skill granting 4 Block (7 upgraded) at cost 0. Standard cost efficiency for a cost-0 card, but cost-wise superior to Defend (Silent) (cost 1 for 5-8 Block). Counts for Flechettes and Pinpoint's Skill count. Synergizes with Afterimage — cost 0 means an extra Block per play. Especially useful in Shiv or Bullet Time decks that spam cost-0 cards. Upgraded 7 Block greatly boosts its value.

• Cost 0 means you can stack defense without spending Energy, even after burning through attack cards.
• In Bullet Time decks, it's already cost 0, so plays pile up — great with Afterimage and Snake Form.
• Counts for Flechettes' Skill count, so just holding Deflect in hand boosts Flechettes' damage.
• Upgraded 7 Block makes it one of the best cost-0 defense cards. Prioritize upgrading.
• With Master Tactician active, Sly gets applied each use — spamming cost-0 Deflect stacks Sly continuously.

• Afterimage: 1 Block per play. Cost-0 Deflect produces 4-7 + 1 = 5-8 Block.
• Flechettes: Damage = Skills in hand × 5 (7). Deflect as a Skill in hand raises Flechettes' damage.
• Bullet Time: Play all hand cards at cost 0. Deflect plays freely for Block stacking.
• Master Tactician: Apply Sly on each Skill play. Spam cost-0 Deflect to stack Sly.
