History Course is an event relic that makes X-cost card copies reference current Energy instead of the energy spent on the original play. X-cost cards consume all Energy to determine their effect, so copies now scale with whatever Energy you have at that moment. This means X-cost cards combined with copy/reuse effects always fire at full strength, and Energy management becomes far more flexible. For decks built around X-cost cards, the value is very high.
