Acquisition
A boss relic picked from Vaku in Act 3 — one of the choices offered when you encounter Vaku. Important as a final-act power spike.
Rating
Whispering Earring grants +1 energy, but Vaku (the AI) plays your first turn of each combat for you. +1 energy on turns 2+ is a big action boost, yet losing turn-1 control is a serious downside. The cost grows whenever the opening turn matters — Power deployment order or target priority — and is especially painful when early misplays decide fights. Decks where turn 1 matters less (passive defensive builds or turn-2-scaling decks) can still net out positive from the energy gain.
Character Ratings
| Character | Rating | Comment |
|---|---|---|
| Ironclad | C+ | Handing off turn-1 Strength setup to the AI is risky |
| Silent | C | Poison ordering and Weak targeting may be suboptimal |
| Defect | C | AI mistakes on Focus Power ordering can be fatal |
| Necrobinder | B- | Summon ordering is simple, so AI errors are less frequent |
| Regent | C | Letting the AI manage turn-1 Star resources is high-risk |
Synergies
| Card / Relic | Reason |
|---|---|
| Passive decks | If turn 1 is rarely high-stakes, the +1 energy shines |
| Innate cards | Innate-heavy decks give the AI reliable turn-1 openers |
| Turn-2-peak builds | Sacrificing turn 1 is fine when the +1 energy pays off later |
