Acquisition
Ancient relic obtained as a choice from Tezcatlar (Act 2). One of the options presented when you meet Tezcatlar in Act 2.
Rating
Toasty Mittens is Tezcatlar's Ancient relic: at the start of each turn, Exude the top card of your draw pile and gain 1 Strength. Strength stacks automatically each turn, so long fights yield huge damage boosts — 5 Strength in a 5-turn fight, 10 Strength in a 10-turn boss fight. The longer combat drags on, the better. The Exuded card is random, so there's some variance, but if your deck is uniformly useful the cost is minimal. Decks that still carry starter Strikes benefit especially — you gain Strength while thinning out dead weight.
