Data Disk

Data Disk is a Defect-only relic that grants +1 Focus at the start of combat automatically. Focus permanently strengthens both orb passives and Evoke effects, so its benefit compounds across the whole fight.

+1 Focus raises Lightning Orb's passive from 3 to 4 and Frost Orb's Block from 2 to 3. The numbers look small, but when multiple orbs are deployed, the effect multiplies per orb. With 3 Lightning Orbs, that's +3 damage per turn; with 3 Frost Orbs, +3 Block per turn. Over long fights that gap translates directly into HP.

As a Common, it's easy to obtain and, picked up early, becomes the bedrock of an orb build. In non-orb builds it's nearly useless, but since virtually every Defect build leans on orbs, it's effectively strong whenever you find it.
