Power Cell is a Defect-only relic that adds a Power Cell card to your opening hand. The card costs 0 and gives +1 energy, so effectively the first turn gets +1 energy.
The extra energy on turn 1 boosts opening tempo — useful for early Power deploys or accelerating orb channels. From turn 2 onward the effect is completely gone, so the run-wide value is very low. Compared to Data Disk, another common that provides a permanent always-on benefit, the gap is stark.
The Power Cell card itself exudes, so it does not clutter the deck — a plus. It does occupy one slot in the opening hand, though, so opening-hand quality drops slightly. It can be a minimum-viable pick when no other energy relic is around, but it should not be a proactive choice.
