How to Obtain
An Ancient relic obtained by choosing from Tezcatara's options in Act 2. This is one of the choices presented when you encounter Tezcatara in Act 2.
Rating & Analysis
New Leaf is a Tezcatara Ancient relic that transforms one card into a different card. While it has the potential to turn a weak card into a useful one, the result is completely random. The standard approach is to use it on a weak card like Strike or Defend, but there is a risk that the transformed card could be equally weak or worse. That said, since the card never becomes completely useless, it functions well as a fallback choice when other options don't fit your deck. The transformed card is chosen randomly from the entire pool of character-specific cards, so with luck it could become a rare card.
