Beating Remnant is a rare relic that caps incoming damage at 20 HP per turn. It acts as a safety net against potentially lethal burst hits, preventing situations where your HP evaporates in a single turn despite your block not keeping up. It is particularly reassuring against the high-damage attacks of Act 3 bosses and elites. That said, situations where you take more than 20 HP in a turn are relatively uncommon in normal combat, and decks that build block reliably will rarely notice the effect.
