Sand Castle is an Ancient relic from Orobas that upgrades 6 cards at random all at once. Since upgrades cumulatively raise the quality of your deck, 6 bulk upgrades are equivalent to 6 Smithing sessions at a rest site. The ideal time to obtain it is when you still have many un-upgraded cards. If most of your deck is already upgraded, the benefit is diminished, so compare it carefully against the other Orobas relic options. A significant secondary benefit is that you no longer need to use rest sites for upgrades and can dedicate them to HP recovery instead.
