A great card that attacks while upgrading your Sovereign Blade. 7–9 damage plus Forge 5–7 on a 1-cost is excellent cost-efficiency, and it's a near-mandatory pick for Sovereign Blade decks.

Forge is a Regent-unique mechanic that raises Sovereign Blade's Forge value and increases its damage. Playing Battle-Hardened multiple times or combining it with the Forge power over time grows Sovereign Blade into a huge finisher. One of the cards I want to grab aggressively from Act 1.

• Attacks while upgrading Sovereign Blade. Used every turn, it quickly reaches a high Forge value
• Combined with Hammer It Out, every other attack also triggers extra Forge, creating multiplicative scaling
• The upgraded Forge 7 on a 1-cost is absurdly good. High upgrade priority

• Forge (power): Forge 4–6 at the start of each turn. Combined with Battle-Hardened, the Forge value climbs fast
• Hammer It Out: every other attack grants an extra Forge 5–7. Stacked with Battle-Hardened, you can pile on huge amounts of Forge in a single turn
• Rampart: a 2-cost card that grants Block plus Forge 10–13. Running it alongside Battle-Hardened lets you power up Sovereign Blade in one turn
• Conqueror: doubles Sovereign Blade's damage for the turn, so higher Forge values make it even more explosive
