Rating
A skill that combines Block with fishing a card out of the discard pile. 6-9 Block is passable, but the true value is the deck manipulation that locks a key card onto next turn's draw.
Especially useful for recurring reusables (Shining Strike, etc.) or for retrieving combo pieces you need for next turn. A versatile card that defends now and sets up your next hand at the same time.
How to Use
- Play it when there's a key card in the discard. Get defense and stacking in one move
- Shining Strike (self-returns to top) can be rescued from discard and passed to next turn
- Upgraded 9 Block is genuinely solid — it still holds up as pure defense
Synergies
- Shining Strike: Self-returns to top, but if it lands in discard, Cosmic Indifference retrieves it
- Glimmer / Photon Cut: Other top-of-deck manipulators. Combine them to fully script next turn's hand
- Consolidate: Retain next turn's hand. Cosmic Indifference's top-stacking aligns with the setup perfectly
