A unique 1-cost Attack that deals 9 damage (12 upgraded) and grants Ethereal to any hand card. The April 2026 patch buffed the damage (8/11 → 9/12), improving it as a raw Attack too. Ethereal-granted cards auto-disappear at end of turn, but they trigger Paper Storm, Ash Spirit, and Pull from Below synergies along the way.

Useful for burning off a hand card you can't spend this turn while still firing the Ethereal triggers. Also works as a Veil Piercer (next Ethereal = 0 cost) target — Sculpted Strike makes any card Ethereal, then Veil Piercer makes it free to play.

Rating: B-tier (utility Attack that opens Ethereal triggers on any card)

• Combine with Veil Piercer: Veil Piercer first to zero the next Ethereal, then Sculpted Strike makes a big card Ethereal (or reverse-order for different plays)
• Grant Ethereal to a stuck high-cost card so "it vanishes at end of turn, no problem" and still fires synergies
• With Paper Storm out, drawing the Ethereal-granted card triggers a draw
• With Ash Spirit out, playing that Ethereal card nets 4 Block

• Veil Piercer: zeroes next Ethereal cost. Sculpted Strike makes the target Ethereal, then Veil Piercer plays it free
• Paper Storm: draw triggers whenever Ethereal lands in hand — Sculpted Strike enables this on any card
• Ash Spirit: 4 Block per Ethereal play. Playing the Sculpted card adds Block too
• Pull from Below: Ethereal play count drives damage. Sculpted Strike's Ethereal plays feed the counter
