Basic Info

  • Effect: At the end of combat, you may remove a card from your deck. Innate.

Rating

Cost 2 Innate Power that lets you remove 1 card from the deck after every combat. A "gradual deck compression" machine — every fight lets you trim one card and slowly sculpt your deck toward its core.

Innate guarantees it's in your opening hand every fight, so the removal is always available. Removal is optional, so you delete trash while keeping gems. Pick it early and across 10-15 fights you can thin the deck to a very lean list of key cards. Combine with in-combat Exude cards like Harvest and Purify to shred the deck at double speed. Cost 2 is heavy, but Innate + per-combat removal = ridiculous long-term value.

Rating: S-tier — Innate guaranteed per-combat removal is the best long-term deck-compression Power around.

How to Use

  • Pick as early as possible to maximize total removals
  • Remove Strikes, Defends, and weak cards first
  • Stack with Harvest / Purify for in-combat Exude + post-combat removal
  • Keep core cards (Rattle, Revive, Domain, etc.) — trim only dead weight

Synergies / Deck Types

  • Harvest: draw 2 + Exude Skill. Combines in-combat Exude with Forbidden Grimoire's post-combat removal
  • Purify: Revive 3 + Exude from deck. 2 cards removed per combat with Forbidden Grimoire
  • Reaping: cost 3, plays all Attacks in hand. Thinner deck = better Reaping quality
  • Rattle: Osty multi-attack finisher. Smaller deck = draw Rattle more reliably
  • Void Call: damage per Exude. Deck compression means more Exude events per combat
