Rating
A Cost 0 Power that draws 2 cards (3 upgraded) on play, then auto-Exudes the top of the draw pile at every turn start. The on-play 2-3 draws become immediate advantage, while the per-turn Exude reliably triggers Exude synergies every turn. A backbone card for Exude decks built around Ash Strike, Evil Eye, Feel No Pain, Dark Embrace, and Forgotten Rite. Ash Strike continually gains power as the Exude count grows — the key payoff.
How to Use
Run it in decks with multiple Exude-synergy cards and ensure you cash in the per-turn Exude. The 2-3 draws on cast help pick up Exude-deck key pieces (Ash Strike, Evil Eye). The turn-start Exude is random, so you might lose strong cards, but Exude synergy returns outweigh the loss. Headbutt can pull cards off the top to manage what gets Exuded. Combined with Howl from Beyond (auto-plays post-Exude), the Exude count grows while AoE fires for free each turn.
Synergies / Deck Types
- Ash Strike: Attack scaling with Exude count x3-4. Every turn's Exude increases Ash Strike's damage.
- Evil Eye: Skill granting bonus Block if you Exuded this turn. War Drum auto-satisfies the condition.
- Feel No Pain: Power granting Block on every Exude. War Drum's per-turn Exude auto-stacks Block.
- Dark Embrace: Power drawing on every Exude. Per-turn Exude keeps hand refilling.
- Forgotten Rite: Skill granting Energy when Exude condition is met. With War Drum, use it every turn for 3-4 Energy.
