A 1-cost hybrid attack that grants 5 Block and deals 5 damage (7+7 upgraded). The raw numbers fall short of dedicated attack or defense cards, but handling both offense and defense in a single card gives your hand excellent flexibility. Upgraded, 7+7 is a total value of 14 per 1 Energy, which is highly efficient. It synergizes strongly with Juggernaut and Grapple, which convert Block gain into damage, boosting offensive output in those decks. With Barricade, you can stack Block every turn, pushing Iron Wave's value even higher.

Its strength is flexibility on turns where you need both offense and defense. With Juggernaut on the field, each Iron Wave triggers damage, Block, and extra damage at once. With Barricade, you stack Block every turn while continuing to attack. Combined with Grapple (extra damage on Block gain), a single 1-cost play can effectively deal 12-14 damage. In Body Slam decks, it serves as a consistent Block accumulator.
