A highly cost-efficient defensive card that grants 9 Block at 0 cost. Since it doesn't bloat your deck thanks to Exude, you can safely include it in any build. It's especially valuable in decks that want to stay thin to draw key cards quickly. Since it can only be used once, the risk of clogging your hand with multiple copies is low, so grab it aggressively when given the chance. Decks with Exude synergy gain even more value from it.

• Early-game stability: Right after the run starts, when defensive options are limited, it's valuable as immediate Block usable at 0 cost. You can fortify your defense while spending Energy on other cards.
• Exude trigger: Combined with cards and Relics that trigger on Exude, you can extract extra value while gaining Block.
• Synergy with deck thinning: In thinned-out decks, you'll draw it more often, boosting defensive reliability. Since it's Exuded, it only works once per cycle, but that's often enough.
