Prometheus
Overview
Prometheus is the Titan who gifted humanity with fire and foresight, appearing as the boss of Mount Olympus — the third layer of the Surface route. Chained and unable to move, he compensates by filling the arena with cascading environmental hazards and a giant eagle ally.
Attack Patterns
| Attack | Description |
|---|---|
| Fire Pillars | Summons multiple columns of flame across the arena simultaneously |
| Foresight Strike | Predicts Melinoë's movement path and places attacks ahead of her position |
| Chain Bind | Lashes out with chains to restrain Melinoë briefly; dash to break free |
| Rain of Fire | Rains fire across a wide area of the arena |
| Eagle Summon | Calls a giant eagle that circles overhead and swoops down; must be destroyed to clear the arena |
| Forbidden Flame (Phase 2) | Below half HP he breaks his chains and covers the entire floor in a fire-grid AoE — navigate through the gaps |
Strategy
Prioritize destroying the eagle immediately each time it appears — while it circles, the arena becomes dangerously crowded with overlapping hazards. Use the Foresight Strike by stopping briefly then moving, which causes the predictive attack to miss. When Forbidden Flame activates at half HP, save Magick for after the grid fades and go all-in on burst damage. Area-clearing boons (Zeus chain lightning, Apollo Sun AoE, Hestia Scorch) excel at clearing both hazards and the eagle quickly.
Rewards
Defeating Prometheus drops Feathers and advances Surface route progression toward The Summit.
