The Depths of Chaos is a special sub-area accessible through Chaos Gates that appear in both Underworld and Surface routes. It exists outside normal reality — a primordial void of swirling stars and golden dust — where Chaos itself resides and offers powerful boons in exchange for a temporary curse.

There is no traditional boss here. Entering a Chaos Gate costs a resource penalty (reduced max HP, Magick, or similar) and leads through one or two trial rooms before reaching Chaos for a reward.

Chaos boons are unlike Olympian boons — they apply a debuff for several rooms, then convert into a strong permanent buff. Trial rooms feature high-density enemies not found in normal layers. Primordial Seeds and rare currency are possible rewards. Enter only when your current HP and resources can comfortably absorb the entry cost.
